ever since I’ve been promised a spray painting kit from my boyfriend (its not happened yet) I’ve been coming up with little designs that I want to paint of the bonnet of my car, they’ve been pretty much anything from Domino Harvey to Jesus Christ to Neon Genesis Evangelion, and I still have come up with anything. Anyway this is one of my more favoured ones. I saw one similar in a tat flash magazine, when I look at the mag against mine they do look very different, I suppose an inspiration comes from anywhere. I’d love to get this tattooed, but seeing as I really dislike tats I decided to keep it for my car. I really love the way the shading came out, it was done with water colour pencils and water colour paint.

The whole piece is almost like a little “screw tats” thing I had in mind, the heart with the flame is originally a catholic symbol, same with the keys. The wings are just generally Christian as are the stars. And of course the “Alpha and the Omega” being one of the references for Jesus throughout the bible. When I studied more about it, I learnt that there is Hebrew letters for the same explanations, I thoughts about changing it, but I decided more people will know the “alpha and omega” reference.

I’ve been really tired this week, my boyfriend has been keeping me up each night, seeing as he doesn’t have a job at the moment he’s been coming over a lot, plus his tastes in movies are… well… sort of lacking, we’ve been watching interviews with this now-christian-ex-satanist guy, not the sort of thing you really want to watch before bed. Anyway the cats are slowing getting all the crickets outside so soon enough it will be quiet.
