Green Nouveau Mermaid

I know I always say I dislike upload dolls but I think that’s probably going to change as a. my scanner seems to be broken, b. my camera IS broken and c. I’m not patient enough nor do I have enough time to do a ‘big’ digital piece.

Anyway this doll is a little old now (I did her about 2 months ago), but I absolutely adore the how the colours came out, and for once I actually LIKE her hair and fins! He hair sort of reminds me of the old Mucha/art Nouveau prints (surprise, surprise). I toyed with the idea of putting one of the halos around her head, but I wasn’t sure how it would look, I might do it in afew months, those little things are DAMN LOT of work.
